Appointment FAQ

Common Questions About CPAP Setup Appointments

Contact your clinic to confirm details that are specific to your appointment.

How long does a CPAP setup appointment take?

Appointment length can vary based on your equipment, prescription, previous experience, questions and clinic process. Contact your clinic for an estimated duration.

Can I bring a family member or caregiver?

A support person may be helpful, particularly when they will assist with equipment or cleaning. Confirm clinic policies and space availability before the appointment.

Will I receive my equipment at the appointment?

Equipment availability depends on your prescription, documentation, coverage pathway, product availability and clinic process. Confirm this with the clinic when booking.

Can I try more than one mask style?

Available mask-fitting options depend on your needs, compatibility, prescription and clinic inventory. Discuss your breathing habits, sleeping position and comfort concerns during the appointment.

What happens if the mask does not feel comfortable later?

Contact MedPro when leaks, pressure points, movement or irritation continue. Do not compensate by excessively tightening the headgear.

What should I do if I already own a CPAP machine?

Tell the clinic when booking. You may be asked to bring the machine, power supply, mask, tubing and other components so the current system can be reviewed.

Will MedPro configure my therapy settings?

Therapy settings should follow the applicable prescription and clinical process. Do not adjust prescribed pressure settings independently.

How do I book follow-up support?

Contact your MedPro clinic or call 1-888-310-1444. You can also review the CPAP follow-up support page.
