Suction Therapy

Suction Therapy equipment may be used when a patient cannot remove secretions, or requires assistance removing secretions (Phlegm), from the upper or lower airway. Suction systems include a suction unit that generates a negative pressure, a collection jar to collect secretions removed from the airway and a connecting tube to connect the collection jar to either a Yankuer oral suction device or suction catheter.

Suction devices are available in single or multi-voltage designs.
